My Professional Journey
I am a clinical social worker, providing individual therapy to adults in Maryland via tele-health. I am originally from Bethesda, Maryland and completed my education and training in the Baltimore area.
I received my Masters in Social work from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2013, with a focus on healthcare clinical social work. I completed my field placement at the Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, working with patients in the Palliative Care Clinic navigating illness and end of life.
In 2014, I developed a keen interest in childhood trauma while working at the Arrow Child and Family Ministries Treatment Foster Care program, serving foster families in Baltimore City and Baltimore County. Through this work, I became interested in focusing my clinical work on attachment, brain development, and emotional regulation as it relates to childhood trauma.
In 2016, I worked with Catholic Charities in Dundalk, Maryland as a clinical therapist. Initially, I served children in partnered public schools but became more inspired by the growing need for adult mental health care in the neighborhood. I became focused on clinic care for adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I also prioritized senior client needs in the neighborhood by becoming credentialed with Medicare. I was trained in CBT and DBT and became a senior clinician working with adults in a pilot MAT program (medication assisted treatment) for those suffering with addiction.

I bring all of my experience working with diverse populations into each session, meeting clients with insight, flexibility, humor, and care.
